NSW will be conducting upcoming Subclass 190 & 491 invitation rounds in April 2026

Investment NSW has announced the next round of invitations for the Skilled Nominated (Subclass 190) visa, which are due to take place in the week commencing 13 April 2026.

Candidates who have submitted an Expression of Interest (EOI) to be considered for Subclass 190 nomination by the NSW Government are reminded to double-check their EOI in SkillSelect to ensure that all EOI details are accurate and up-to-date by Sunday 12 April 2026.

Additionally, a further invitation round for the Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) visa under Pathway 2 is expected in the week commencing 27 April 2026.

Candidates who have submitted an Expression of Interest (EOI) to be considered for Subclass 491 nomination by the NSW Government are reminded to double-check their EOI in SkillSelect to ensure that all EOI details are accurate and up-to-date by Sunday 26 April 2026.

How many points do I need for NSW nomination?

Nonetheless, while having at least 65 points allows you to submit an EOI to be considered for Subclass 190 visa nomination, invitation rounds are highly competitive and this does not guarantee that you will be nominated by the NSW Government.
